Along with Italy, Croatia is the country whose sea bream exports to France grew the most between 2017 and 2018. Quantities increased by a factor of 1.7 to 417 tons. Created in 2009, the Cromaris company passed the 10,000 ton mark in its 10th year of existence and has been present in France since 2014. “Our offer stands out thanks to the antibiotic-free certification which we obtained last July, and the ASC label on 100% of our production”, explains Julie Dujardin, French sales manager at Cromaris.
In addition to developing an organic range of products, the company is expanding its offer on the self-service shelves. First of all, with a range of four under-skin products, launched in December: three 130 g fillets of Bass, Seabream and Meagre and one 200 g Meagre steak. Next, a similar range, but under modified atmosphere, with 100% recyclable packaging.
